Wow, what a Holiday! All went well & we all had a nice time visiting family, giving & receiving gifts. Our first event this Christmas season was dinner & presents at G-ma Pat's. I have several pictures of cousins & such that look great, nice smiles, etc. However, this is the one I have to the two boys together. Mr. & Mr. Attitude. Oh well.
We opened presents from Santa Christmas morning at our house. Bub got the DSi he wanted and several games. Shyguy got Stinky the garbage truck and another big truck, trailer & backhoe. They got tons of stuff. I think they were pretty pleased.
Christmas Day evening we headed to Uncle C & Margarita Queen's house to celebrate. As usual the food was awesome, especially the meatballs and dream bars. It wouldn't be Christmas for me without those dream bars, thanks Margarita Queen for making Uncle C make those for me again this year.
The boys once again got so much stuff. It was awesome. New banks, candy, new sled, clothes, cool RC forktruck. They've been playing with so much of their new stuff.
The 26th brought Papa's extended family get together. Before things got rocking there, the boys & I headed down to the overpass & tried out Bub's new sled. It ripped the slopes. It was kind of cold and breezy on the side of the overpass, but they didn't want to quit. Mama eventually made them walk back to Uncle C's house. Mean mom.
Finally awesome Aunt Peggy held an early Birthday Party for Bub's 7th Birthday. We all went to the play tunnel Burger King and had lunch, played and Bub got some presents. More DS games, clothes, movie and some books. Aunt Peggy even made up these great gift bags for the kids. The sunglasses were a hit. Thanks so much. Bub really enjoyed the day.
