Good Luck, Bad Luck

First off, update on the Pink Eye battle, yes, its still going on.  Bub woke up Friday morning, the last day of his 2nd round of eye drops & his eye looked a little red.  We thought maybe he was rubbing it, gave him his drops & sent him off to school.  Papa & I headed off to work.  Well, Bub wasn't at school ten minutes & school called asking that he be picked up.  Ugh.

Grandma went & got him & I called the doctor's office.  Now he is on oral antibotics along with the eye drops.  It looks good again, but wow three weeks of this stuff.

For the good luck, Papa & Bub went to a Duck's Unlimited banquet Friday night.  Bub's name was the first one called for the kid's raffle.  The first one!  Papa helped him pick out a 20 gauge shot gun, oh my.  I don't think he realizes it will be years . . . years before he can use it.

For the bad luck, I had to work in the afternoon & Papa and the boys were heading out on one of the trips about town together when CRUNCH, he backed over a toy with the pick up truck.  His first thought was the John Deere tractor, but fortunately, that was spared.  However, the trailer wasn't so lucky . . .

No, it's not ok, one of the wheels doesn't roll anymore & cannot hook up to the tractor.  Maybe they will learn to keep track of their toys better . . . probably not.
