Easter celebrations

Prior to Easter we began the battle with Pink Eye.  Bub got a note home from school the week before his Spring Break saying there was a case of Pink Eye in his class.  Monday morning (March 29), the first day of his Spring Break week, he woke up with Pink Eye.  His last day for drops was Saturday, well Sunday at the Easter gatherings his other eye began to water, turn red & itch.  He got Pink Eye in the other eye now.  His first day back to school was supposed to be yesterday, but alas, he stayed home, again.  All is well now, we are on our 2nd round of eye drops, he is really good about us putting the drops in & so far, no one else in the family has gotten it.

Since last week was Bub's Spring Break, Papa took Thursday off and took the boys fishing.  Although they only caught 2 perch, the weather was beautiful & it was time well spent together.

Good Friday we colored our Easter eggs.

Sunday morning after Bub looked for his Easter Basket an extremely long time, we headed out for breakfast at Grandma P's house.  We had waffles, bacon, two kinds of sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, three kinds of muffins . . . yum, yum.  All was good.

Then the kids all did an Easter egg hunt, they each had to find 22 eggs this year.

Apparently, they all weren't easy to find.
Lastly, we headed to Uncle C & Margarita Queen's for a feast, Easter Bingo (much fun) and several basketball shot tornaments.  Featured feast pictures follow:
