The Zoo!

Tuesday night the boys & I drove down to Aunt Kirby's house and spent the night. The next morning we were off to the zoo! Thanks so much to Aunt Kirby for opening up her house to us and joining us at the zoo. She had a major toe injury and walking was agony, but she was such a help to us all day. Sorry about the time Shyguy jumped off a statue onto your injured toe . . . oh and sorry for the time Bub stepped on it too.

We got to see them feed the hippo. He or she eats raw

vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots & a whole

pineapple (or Spongebob's house as Shyguy tells it).

After the zoo we made a quick stop at Trader Joe's for some tub cookies then it was off to Aunt Bea's & Uncle A's house for a visit & some dinner! Aunt Bea grilled some pork loin & sweet potatoes that were super tasty. We felt so special, we got to eat on polish pottery for breakfast at Aunt Kirby's & dinner at Aunt Bea's & Uncle A's.
