Happy New Year 2009

Happy belated New Year anyway. Not much new going on here. Vacation is almost over and Papa and I go back to work Monday! We had a good time New Year's Eve at a friend's house. We played Apples to Apples, which I had never played before. It was fun and quite entertaining with such a large crowd, and the majority of the crowd under the influence.

We had the Bud's over Friday night and pulled out the Sorry Card Revenge game. We haven't played that since the year we got it. After several hands not playing it correctly and getting a little fustrated, Papa found in the directions what we were doing wrong. It was much more fun after that. We played well into the late evening hours and had a blast. K and I made up for not drinking New Year's Eve and both tied one on.

But before any of that happened, late December we took the boys and met up with Bub's "girlfriend" and her Mom at the bowling alley. It was the first time they went bowling. They caught on really fast and had much fun. We all played two games and had a good time. Well, Shyguy decided he didn't want to put on the cute little bowling shoes, but he was content playing with some tractors we brought along.
