Wednesday, March 19th

Wednesday's the French kids only have about a half day of school.  In the afternoon they typically have sports practice, music lessons or whatever they are involved in.

Email from host family:

"Hi,
 
We got your e-mail this morning.

Yesterday, Pat went to school, and to a market (a typical market in Paris). In the afternoon, he went with Clement to the soccer training.

We still have sunny weather."

In my last email to the family I asked Pat some questions to see how things are going.  Unlike in person, in an email, Pat is a boy of few words.  My questions & then his answers in all caps:

Just wondering how you are liking your trip. I AM LIKING EVERYTHING
What was your favorite thing to do so far?  GO TO THE TOP OF THE EIFFEL TOWER
What foods have you tried that you never had before?  Did you like it? POTATOE CRILE IT WAS AWESOME
How are you feeling? Are you over being tired early? SAD, NO
Are you trying to speak some French? NO
Have you been writing in your journal? YES
