Camping weekend

Time for our annual camping trip to Uncle Mark & Uncle Gary's hunting property.

I joked that I didn't know if we were packing for camping or

filling up the cornucopia for the 76th Hunger Games.

I remember when Alyssa was born, I was working & had a pager, but you could only punch in numbers, no text. So Jon was going to page a #1 if it was a boy or a #2 if it was a girl to let me know what Scott & Stephanie had.

Following in some of his older cousin's footsteps, Bub joined Youth Theater this spring.  He starred in a play called Laffin' School.  His play was by far the most comical and I think he had the best part!

A Bittersweet Goodbye

Today we had to take Clement back to the airport to head back to France.

It was sad to see him go, but I think he was ready to see his family again.

Clement's last day in the US was Mother's Day.

Aunt Cathy invited us down to the lake to go boating and fishing.

Afterschool playdate and Mom/Son Bowling night

Friday the US kids got to join the French kids on a field trip to Bay City State Park.

I think they did archery.

French students came over to our house with their French kids and

had a Nerf gun war.

Tonight was McAlear's Mother/Son Bowling night, just like the Daddy Daughter Dance, but Mother/Son.  We joined the other host mom's from our Nerf wars group and had a blast.
